A guide to integrating Instagram and Messenger
Here are steps to help you navigate the path to integrating or linking your Instagram with Messenger for double the fun.
Step #1: Go to Instagram settings.
Follow these steps to go to Instagram settings:
- Launch the Instagram app on your device. It will work on iOS and Android apps, so don’t worry!
- Click on the profile icon in the lower right corner.
- Click on the hamburger menu icon in the upper right corner.
- Select “Settings & Privacy”.
Step 2: Navigate To the Meta Section.
Now after going to settings do this:
- Look for the option that says “dead”.
- You can see the Account Center option. Click on it.
Step 3: Enter your Facebook account.
- Under Account Settings, click Accounts to link Facebook Messenger to Instagram.
- Click “Add Accounts”.
- Click on “Add Facebook Account”. A page will now open to enter your Facebook account credentials.
- This process will link your Facebook account to your Instagram account for an integrated experience.
Step 4: Check the results.
- Open Instagram direct messages.
- Click on the search bar and type the account name.
- Scroll down, and you’ll see a profile under the “More on Instagram” and “More on Facebook” sections.
If you click on the profile under the Facebook section and write a message, the message will be sent to the Messenger app and you won’t need to go to the Messenger app.
